Release patch notes
A very long 2 years, now the game is finally ready to be put on the store. If you played the previous version (from last year), the game has changed a lot, with too many fixes to list them here. This is the list if you played the demo and/or you've seen some Let's Plays:
Gameplay changes and additions:
- Completely changed how town names, town building names and player building name tooltips are shown
- Can now use buildings if the game is paused
- Towns now spawn buildings and produce stuff!
- Wholesaler gameplay added: they sell whatever the town makes and is on surplus
- Cannot sell town trucks anymore (LOL)
- Cannot place diagonal tracks on roads or viceversa
- Cannot place tracks or roads diagonally on slopes
- Added "resume game" button in the pause menu
- Added an alert if no recipe was chosen in a new factory
- Town names now always active
- Added info and changed wording in factory's overview panel
- Added a warning for "full storage" issues
- Factories now only emit smoke if a recipe is selected
Bugfixes:
- Lots of changes at how saving and loading works
- Lag reduced greatly after 10 years of gametime
- Fixed various menu glitches
- Fixed various camera issues
- Cannot delete town roads by placing tracks on them
- Replaced wrong images in the tutorial
- Fixed "State" link in tutorial
- Fixed icon issues in the "Trade Route" panel
- Fixed an issue when typing the name of a building, the game changed speed
- Cow icon is now a cow, not a steak (???)

Do towns produce multiple goods or do they produce one of each good? Just wondering if town will produce a general amount of goods or will they specialize.?
Over time, they will specialise more and more
